The 5% commission

Stemfra gives you a professional website, booking, and an AI front desk at no upfront cost: no setup fee, no monthly fee, and no contract. In return, we earn a flat 5% commission on the sales you make through your Stemfra site, never more than $400 a month. We only earn when you do.
What the 5% applies to
The commission applies to the sales made through the site we build and manage for you, including:
- Online bookings paid on your site.
- In-person and at-visit sales that you mark as collected in your dashboard.
- Memberships, class packs, and drop-ins.
- Product and package orders.
It applies whether the customer is new or a client you already had. It does not depend on who referred the customer.
The $400 monthly cap
The commission is capped at $400 per site per calendar month. Once the commission on a month's sales reaches $400, the rest of that month's sales carry no commission. Each location (each Stemfra site) has its own cap, the cap is in US dollars, and it does not carry over between months. In a month with no bookings there is nothing to pay.
What is not included
- Tips: these are not service revenue, so no commission is taken on them.
- Taxes: any tax you collect on a sale is excluded.
Platform fee and processing fee are separate
The 5% is the Stemfra platform commission. When card payments are enabled on your account, the payment processor charges its own separate processing fee, shown as its own line. We never blend the processing fee into our 5%. Until card processing is active on your account, you take payment on your own rails and mark sales as collected, and only the 5% applies.
